Afropop star Waconzy sat down with Factory78
to talk about the year 2013. It saw some wonderful moments and memories
for pop star where he received good reviews for his popular songs
''Amosu and Sweet like tombo'' including his work with his charity
foundation on the fight against Malaria fever '' the Zero tolerance
project'' .
However 2013 also saw some unsavoury press on Waconzy after his interview with Channels Tv's Ebuka went viral. The star artiste's comments didn't go down well in the music industry especially with some of his contemporaries like Davido,Tonto Dike, Olamide,Timaya to name a few.
After the media storm that followed, Waconzy
accepted full responsibility of his words and apologized to who he
calls '' my brothers and sisters in the entertainment industry''
emphasizing his message of promoting positivity. In true musician
fashion, Waconzy went into the studio to make a
song to share his thoughts on the matter saying '' singing has always
been my best way of expressing myself, when i'm down or happy , i enjoy
sharing
it through songs and i want my industry mates and the world to know how
i really felt about the unfortunate comments i made last year '' .
''Am Sorry''
is the latest offing from the Abia State native addressing his comments
and apologizing to some of his industry mates who had been rubbed the
wrong way.
